Short, Short Story. Memories of My Dad
Rated:

Avg Rating: (4)
I never heard my dad say, "I love you," although I know that he did.  When he died in the summer of 2001, I was 49 years old.  My dad was a "work-aholic" without any hobbies or diversions.  He worked, came home, slept and worked again.  This is my earliest memory of him.  Yet, without his expressing his love for us in words, he provided for us.

Is this so different from our Heavenly Father?  We have never heard him audibly say that He loves us, yet we know that He loves all of His children.  We know because He provides for us, and we know because we see Him at work all around us.  He, too is a "work-aholic"!  He is always at work!  We see Him all around us in our daily walk.  He is inviting us to come and be a part of His work...won't you accept His call?
