Sing Me Another Hymn
A personal one. Focusing on lies and betrayal.

Fear, puddled
Laying thick on the bed
A poison which runs deep
Ignorance is a haven
In the midst of so much
Hatred
Incest
Betrayal
Jealousy
Shattered dreams
Forgotten tears
The strings of the past
Always controlling
Never loosening
As this mindfuck
Goes on
And the words
Continue to bleed
This carnival ride
Will never stop
The contorted faces
The fake concern
Decorated with guilt
Their mouths
Hungry for dishonesty
As they disguise
Their revulsion
With the divine
Familia bella
Sing me another
Hymn
That alludes
To the sacred things
That cannot be
Keep swallowing
The daggers of truth
While I embrace it
