WHEN'S THE WEDDING? Living alone is not an easy thing to do, sometimes I feel like an old cast-off shoe. My hair has turned to silver and my gold has diminished quite a bit since I got old. Still I have dreams of happiness today, somewhere out there is one who will say that life can be sweeter for two 'stead of one and I aim to take the plunge for some fun. I'll spruce up my image and iron my shirt, scrub off the memories and some of the dirt. I've worked hard all my life, now is the time I want to find someone and make him mine! I am smiling and happy as I walk the street, I get knowing nods from the people I meet. I know I've changed my tune, no disgrace, wedding bells will put a smile on my face! "When's the wedding?" they ask me often, it makes me think and my heart will soften. I keep dreaming and if dreams do come true I'll soon find THE ONE and say "YES, I DO!" Living alone is not an easy thing to do, sometimes I feel like an old cast-off shoe. Life can be sweeter for two 'stead of one and I aim to take the plunge 'fore I'm done! Countrymom 7/2/09
