OUR TASTY ADVENTURE!

We took a trip, my muse and I,
to investigate the wide, blue sky!
A search for the words and the rhymes by the road,
as we traveled and journeyed; a poem on the go.

But we soon tired of the sky by itself,
and looked to the rivers and streams for their help
in revealing the poetry, so hard to get--
and we are still searching: we've not found it yet!'

We saw in the distance a quaint little place
with offerings complete with tasty delights!
Up closer, its name "Eat Your Words and Say Grace"
compelled us to taste and enjoy to new heights!

On we went, in search of good food and good rhyme;
we traveled so far and so fast til we stopped--
we knew we had lost all track of our time
and direction, as to inspiration we hopped!
