LETTING GO WHILE PRESSING ON ...a simple act to preserve what is presently precious What is yours, is yours. When willfully given away, what was yours no longer belongs to you. Recognize what is yours today; hesitate to wave it away. For once a gift is released, forfeited is the right to redeem it. ### Continuing course of destiny --- a gently flowing river --- disallowing past disgrace to make its currents quiver. Confession revives the spirit. Yea, His grace is ever extended. With a resolute clap of hands: ARISE, triumphant crescendo. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Revisiting past scenarios... to my own distress (obsessing/cumpulsing) --- may be a problem for me, not necessarily for everyone else. My ability to let go and move on takes focus and determination. This particular piece of writing came when a past love was revisited... to my own chagrin. I gave up on a relationship in the haste of youth; and the older, not so wiser, me allowed myself to become preoccupied with "if only's" and "maybe again's" though the old invitation was null and void. Facing the Truth brought breakthrough.
