Summer
An acrostic written for the ponds' summer carnival of events!

Sunshine and sand in places it shouldn't be
Undulating waves lap salty licks against my feet
Melting lollies drip sticky kisses on my knees
Melting ladies 'glow' with their own salty tides,
Evaporating on sun-lotioned hides.
Reliving summer in every tinkle of melody from the ice cream truck.
