Luna Eclipses the Sun
Cramps, contractions, a watery shower. To the hospital mom goes, as this is the hour. Pushing and waiting, wiping mom's brow. Your mommy is tired, I wish you'd come now. Just one more push, motherhood is near. Peek-a-boo, one more push, You're finally here! Shooting star, all at once, You burst into the room. The Sun now eclipsed, by Sweet Luna the Moon. Life before had its moments, but didn't sparkle like this. You're moonlight and starbeams, sent with an angel's kiss. by: Kimarie
