My Love

It is love that opens my heart, mind, and soul.
Love is the fuel to drive, gifted to us from on high.
Love is the reason, passion for you I have shown.
Love strikes, etched for you onto the heart I'd known.

Ready to stir in your sweet passions part.
Love mixed together, makes joyful our heart.
Love gives strength to endure ripping apart.
Then act, and pretend, it's just a talk with a friend.

With broken bones, I'll protect you my queen.
You are the one, brought to each, wonder teams.
The countless reasons my love is for you, I will never forget.
Love for you pierced my heart, forever each moment til death.

Love gifts all I am, your man hailed as yours to be true.
To follow the path set for me, and for you.
Love is the reason I stand in strength, like an old tree.
I am strong; I'll bare the yoke lavished on me.

Heavy snow stretching hard to break it's straining limbs.
Making me stronger, to aid my one special friend.
Love is the strength that makes me come back again.
Your great value, womanhood, pales the ransom of kings.

Gold, diamonds, the monarch's land, and much more.
Shows not even a candle, to the brilliance you roar.
Love is the power that helps me sound as I do.
In your gentle grace I'm complete; born anew.

Love brings joyful tears, thoughts of holding your hand.
Love knows I am, blessed by God, to be your man.
