A Soul in time
What must a Soul endure.

                   I heard the Ravens Melody,
                   even while the flames of
                   Diablo’s Fire consumed me,
every single ounce of my flesh,
                   and flames sear my soul.

                   Love as elusive as the
Phantoms Rose you held within your hands,
                   though I refused to see.
I only saw the beauty that might be.
                   Hearing only your silken voice
never clearly understanding the words you spoke.

                   Time stopped.
                   My world strangely warped,
                   the Angels Hourglass
                   lies sideways on the floor.

                   The Silver River ceased to
                   flow from my Frozen Soul.

A golden dancing light suddenly Pierces the darkness.

The haunting of the Phantoms Rose is at its end.
My Frozen Soul begins to thaw,
                                                 quickening my every breath.

The Ravens Melody fades into nothing.
                                                 My heart beats anew.

                                                 The Angels hourglass stands.
                                                 Again the slow sifting
of the sands of time begins.

A silver river flows once more
healing the once torn and bleeding wounds
that I thought would never heal,
                                                 making me strong once more.
