Shell
questions the morals behind war and self-defense

Crack a shell, and it cracks your own.
Double resistance is harder than stone.
So preserve your pain,
And revere your stain.
When affection whispers hate
Don’t re-evaluate;
It’s for love supreme,
The perfect machine.
Input concerns
Output burns
In the form of dropped kisses
Shot from planes with care, lest care misses
Love is love as long as its yours
So ignore the kind that grows across shores…

If we kill for freedom, are we really free?
Or trapped by bodies stacking up on the beach?
Dead men don’t tell tales, they prefer to yell.
Guilt only breaks, if it’s breaking your shell.

Note: i realize i have no idea what im doing as far as style or aabbcc stuff. just ignore the horrible structure if you can
