Hypnotic Past
Rated: E | Poetry | Psychology | #1579956
Do you ever regret what you've left behind?
Hypnotic Past

What is the shelf life of a city?
Delay time once again
A key slipped into gears
Spiraling, clicking like seconds
Finally breaking through
Dust eyes dither
As the aperture is unlocked
Rusted intersections hiding in a corner
The creek of your hinged fingers
Pull back the shroud
You should look again...
Will you restart?
I touch the hail
Pounding in my trance

I don’t know.
