How can I write a really good prompt--a prompt that will tickle your muse??
One that will thrill you, engage and fulfill you--one that you truly can use.
One from the phone book, newspaper and Newsweek; or one from my favorite geek
One you can respond to, can write on and on to--but that will not take you all week!
One that can reach you, excite you and teach you, or thrill to the top of your head--
one that can spook you, frighten and jolt you-one that can fill you with dread!
One that will make you succeed at your contest; and thal makes you rhyme at your best--
I know that one thing is really for certain, it'll be like pursuing a quest!
It'll be kind of fun, and I know when I'm done, you'll have had a rhyming good time!
And the writing is fun--you've known all along, that it's more fun than just doing mime!
So, I'll sit down and work until I find a noun to make my fun new prompt a hit!
And you'll rhyme 'til you drop--you won't want to stop, 'cause your rhymes will always have wit!!
And your soul will be tickled, your mirth will be pickled, and your muse will be throwing a fit!
