Plumes disguise beady eyes, shining in the moonlight’s glow. Predator’s smile through beaked lips tells of deception and enchantment. Quivering feathers rustle impatiently, preparing attacker against unsuspecting prey, while almost betraying clever cover given by shadows. Timing being utterly important, our zealous yet cautious stalker feigns indifference with polite gestures. As xanthic incandescence reveals target features she proceeds to incite response. Graceful dives, flirty signals, all bait for victim’s affection. Cunningly they near one another, pulled so magnetically close that oxygen becomes scarce. Secrets shared – consequently love knows everything without speech. Harmonious movements form duets just this night; masquerade unveiled.

Written specifically for the "100 Words Contest"   by Lonewolf - Catching up using exactly 100 words, no repeats and at least one word starting with every letter of the alphabet.
