OPEN THE WINDOWS


Open the windows of mind
And let the fresh winds blow.
Partake of others’ wisdom
So that your own does glow.

Mind is like an umbrella
Or like a parachute.
It works only when open;
Don’t ever make it mute.

With an open mind you must
With others interact.
Never think what you believe
Is the true solid fact.

Keep the mind’s windows open,
Your wisdom won’t get out.
Rather, as knowledge flows in,
Fresh and new thoughts will sprout.
