I’ve time enough to wander.
A lifetime to pursue Those things I’ve always wondered Of what I'd like to do. So I began my journey, Wandering here and there. Always with time to wander, Without worry, without care. I formed no great attachments. No bonds of love I’d make. I’ve time enough to wander These things my time would take. I traveled to great cities. I visited foreign ports. My time enough to wander Took me to grand resorts. There were sometimes companions Who’d share my precious time; Alone again I’d wander. My life, I thought sublime. But, time can be so fickle. We all must pay the toll. In time enough to wander I found that I was old. Infirm, I couldn’t wander. No time left to pursue. No time left for adventures, My wandering was through.
