The Bachelor was my Big Brother. He was the Biggest Loser yet! He needed an Extreme Makeover to find The Bachelorette. He’d had a few Hard Knocks in life, and gained quite a few pounds. Currently there was More to Love, ‘cause he was really round. “Oh brother dear, cheer up,” I said, “For I Can Make You Thin. 30 Days in my Boot Camp, and the All American Girl you’ll win.” A Solitary task this was, involving Starting Over. I spelled out the new House Rules just like I was a drover. He needed an Intervention, and not just for his weight. Unless he found some polish, he’d be a real Hell Date! His language was atrocious! He really shouldn’t cuss. I knew I should be Giving Hope, but he truly made me Blush! He actually went Cold Turkey. He followed my advice. And at the end of thirty days, he looked and acted nice! He developed true Dance Fever, started Dancing with the Stars. He became a real live Dance Machine, and the new Next Action Star! He gave up chasing Cupid, and stopped Looking for Love. He became The Pick Up Artist that I still have nightmares of! Well, now this Miracle Worker has had her Moment of Truth Never again will I interfere, with a brother who’s uncouth! I’ve truly learned my lesson; had my share of Dirty Jobs. My Fame won’t be the Driving Force that changes men from slobs. I‘ll take up writing Jingles that hopefully won’t bomb, And try to overcome the fact that My Life is a Sitcom! 24 lines
