One quote I heard years ago went as follows, "The decisions we make in an instance, are the ones that define our true character." When you ponder this quote, it really makes sense in some aspects. In my opinion, we make decisions based on the type of person we are. For example, rather we choose to cheat someone out of something, or lie to our spouse is really based on our morals and rather we have any or not..
Another quote I love that I love is "Because we live in a fallen world, we will experience negatives in our lives. Heartache and dissappointment will come our way. We experience "stuff" we don't deserve, don't want and can't send back. Its ours! BUT, THANKS BE TO GOD, nothing happens in this world that he doesn't know about and that he can't handle". That was said by Thelma Wells. That is so true too! There has been a lot of times in my life, like when my parents died, when I went through my divorce, the time I had a miscarriage and it caused me to become infertile, leaving me with the knowing that I would never have my own children, something I had always wanted to be a mom. Through all these times God knew about them all, handled them alll, and helped me handle them all!! I would never have made it through them without his help.
