Sweet Memories

Sweet memories
glide 'cross my lips like love's first kiss.
Sweet memories
melt in my mind; playfully tease
like a refrain that is amiss -
nigh, but not quite, bittersweet bliss.
Sweet memories!

Notes

An entry for Round Day 4 "Rhythm & Rhyme Poetry Challenge [E]
Prompt: Image
Form: Rondelet
The Rondelet is a French form consisting of a single septet with two rhymes and one refrain written: AbAabbA. The capital letters are the refrains, or repeats. The refrain is written in tetra-syllabic or dimeter and the other lines are twice as long - octasyllabic or tetrameter. There is a strict meter but no specific requirement of iambic. Thank you for taking time to read my words. I would appreciate it if you took a moment and left a comment. Your reaction, impressions, criticisms, - yes, even praise *Smile* are all equally welcome.
