Smooth As Glass
A rhyming acrostic -- I gave it a try

Sneaking in your house late at night,
Masked, ready to go to any measure.
On his game, making movements so slight.
Owning bounty, his guilty pleasure.
Thief takes over by dimming moonlight,
Hiding in shadows, stealing treasure.

Asleep you lay, unaware in bed.
Stealth steps slide beside your clueless head,

Grabbing jewels, money, coins, and more,
Light on his feet, quicker with his work,
An expert criminal to the core.
Silently, one last moment he lurks,
Smooth as glass, slick as ice - out the door.
