![]() Apples aplenty, lined in a row, each candied, bursting with sweet flavor. Illusions of carmeled happiness, on sheets of waxed paper calling you, uttering paradise promises. Anticipation, selecting one, ever so careful, grabbing the stick. Inching it toward my awaiting mouth. Oh, luscious flavor teases my lips. Ugh! Is that a worm I bit into? Form: Vowell Vastness -- Two stanzas starting with vowels in the order they are in the alphabet: A,e,i,o,u. Each stanza had nine syllables. It doesn't have to rhyme, and there is no iambic pentameter because I barely and only sometimes understand that.
