In this land where the moon ever sleeps
And winter lords greedily upon the land Where the dead frames of trees have never seen the light Where the wind creates demons of snow who dance and leap A stranger smiles at the blackened sky His face marred by a knowing eye In his hand is a single star A star that burns bright with emotion Holding it close hands cupped as it flickers To guide him through the dark And alone he walks But now there is hope That one awaits him on the path ahead With a star of her own Forged of emotions And willing to share
