                                                      Standing amidst the crowd,
                                                                  I’m lost
and I need you to save me.

You hold my hand and take me home.
‘It’s yours, not mine’, I cry.
‘None the difference, now that you are mine.’

                                                    Only lost then, now betrayed,
                                                        not knowing where, I run.
                                                    The footsteps grow close behind,
and all I see is a car on the road.

                                                      Waking up from deep sleep,
I flutter my eyelids to see.
There she is, the love of my life,
                                                            looking down at me.

                                                            I cry endless seas
                                                        while she holds my hand,
kisses me , all is well.

I lift my gaze to look outside.
There he is, standing in the lobby,
tears in his eyes tell a different story.
My eyes say "that wasn’t me",
                                                          his reply "neither was I".
