Bitterness
The acid in the belly that spills, going into us deeply like blood. It atrophies inner heart and soul, cauterizing a heart against good. A planned attack becomes suicide, self-inflicting the cause of much pain. Forgive and don't let past hurts decide, that mercy should go down the drain. Do not drink from it's grotesque cup, for bile and sorrow lies there within. Waste not your life on bitterness, it will destroy you from the outside-in. Forgive those who do not ask to be. in graciousness turn the other cheek. Stop letting others control how you feel, Walk away wiping the dust from your feet. You will feel better off if you do this. Bitterness hurts the tender true self. Don't store resentments and hatred, like prized posessions upon a shelf. by: Kimarie Manhart-Freeman
