Letting Go

On the cliff of life, my back against the tide.

Now it's not so hard, feeling brave now inside.

Nothing to lose except my fears and pride.

I was dormant, held by opinions and hesitation.

Not stopping now, like a train beyond a station.

Heading to my real purpose, my destination.

Tourist-minded, my eagerness abounds,

wanting to experience tastes, sights, and sounds.

breath and drink it in not caring who is around.

Effortless,gracefull progress,I feel no remorse.

No regretting my decision, staying on course,

like a falcon honing in on it's food source.

Confidence so wind-like beneath wings of purpose,

my unstable life before, now seems a gaudy circus.

Letting go to find me has been anything but worthless.
