New Prompt: Write a story or poem about finding a book that told your life story, but it wasn't written by you. MY TRUE BUT UNSEEN BOOK OF LIFE I found a well-used little book, flowers stuck to its sides-- I then read all my stories; the ones I realize have followed me where I have gone, no matter how I've tried to get away, to start anew--they follow me to guide me as I travel through the beauty of life's shores. And, in my little book, I found so much I had ignored and lost, so much that made me ME! I felt a pang, and tore some precious loosened pages out, to save what I adore. But, in that honest, little book that I had never seen, was my whole life in view at once, a life I did not mean to leave behind; my fondest dreams at last redeemed, and now that I've met them again, I've reinforced life's seams!
