THE ALIENS

SECTIOD Report 1-4-2005 CLASSIFIED!

Specimens range from three to four feet in height, and none yet weigh more than 100lb. All have a humanoid appearance with large black eyes that are tear shaped sitting in an overly large head.
All specimens seem to have a uniform gray skin that is cool to the touch and feels like well worn leather, and is very supple but surprisingly tough.
Autopsies on neutralized Sectiods reveals vestigial organs and a simple internal structure. The brain and eyes are extremely well developed and appear superior to our own. Tests indicate three times the brain activity is likely, while the sight range exceeds our visible spectrum and is capable of greater definition at range.
Internal structures suggest genetic alteration or mutation has occurred at an advanced level, rendering the undersized internal organs more capable of doing their jobs. The small mouth and nose appear to have little function and there is a complete lack of any kind of vocal mechanism, though specimens and live subjects have shown an ability to coordinate actions with others.
The webbing between the fingers and the flat feet suggest aquatic origins that have not yet been evolved out or removed by the genetic manipulation. There are no reproductive organs and no clues as to how this species reproduces. They are probably genetically engineered. No data is available on cloning as insufficient examples have been obtained.

ADDENDUM 13-10-2005

Interrogations of live specimens reveals details about their hierarchy, ranging from soldiers through to leaders who seem to posses powerful psionic abilities. These abilities have been demonstrated in combat, allowing them to demoralize our soldiers, or even take over their minds for short periods. Those under mind control have opened fire on their fellows, but can easily be noticed by their often jerky movements and lack of speech.
Sectiods tend to indulge in human abduction and cattle mutilations. The abduction is used to extract genetic material for cross breeding and developing clones for infiltrating human society. The cattle appear to provide both nutrition and genetic material.
This race seems to want to develop superior genetic hybrids to increase the efficiency of their ‘hive-like’ society.



SNAKEMAN Report 12-4-2005 CLASSIFIED!

Examples seen so far stand six feet tall (never shorter) and most have an additional three feet of tail that they use for propulsion. All have a uniform orange colour that allows them to be spotted easily in most environments.
The snakemen also posses two arms that bear traces of Sectiod style genetic manipulation. While not very large or significantly strong, they are capable of carrying mid-sized alien weapons.
Their skin is extremely tough and heat resistant. The cardio-vascular system is part of the muscular system which uses hydraulic principles to create motion. To this effect, the only true muscle is the heart, and is capable of propelling a snakeman at exceptional speeds, which can be increased dramatically if the snakeman slithers on it’s belly rather that carry it’s top third upright.
The reproductive system appears to be very efficient as it occurs asexually with each snakeman carrying up to 50 eggs inside it’s lower body and above the tail. Left to it’s own devices this species would be a severe threat to life on earth.

MUTON Report 12-4-2005 CLASSIFIED!

Mutons stand at least seven feet tall. They are most likely the foot soldier of the alien races. The are humanoid in appearance with a dark purple skin.
They have a second layer of skin that appears to be an organically created protective armor which is grafted onto the body. There are numerous cybernetic implants which are used to enhance the cardiovascular system and the senses. Optical implants have been found on the left eye of some specimens, providing infra-red vision. Some implants are filled with a massively powerful chemical mixture that contains Muton compatible pain suppressers and steroids. This allows Mutons to keep fighting despite horrific injuries.
The reproductive organs appear to have been surgically removed. Evidently these unfortunate creatures are limited to a life of warfare and conquest.
Armor piercing bullets have little effect on the green bio-armor, but the face is a vulnerable point, as it has not been covered on any so far.

ADDENDUM 29-4-2005

The new explosive rounds being distributed to units is effective in penetrating the bio armor.

FLOATER Report 30-12-2005 CLASSIFIED!

This creature has been massively altered by surgery. There is a spherical device which seems to form the core of the body’s life support systems, taking over the function of heart, lungs and digestive system. This enables the creature to survive in extremely hostile environments. The brain is smaller than ours, but the sensory organs are well developed. They have no legs, their body ends in the armor bottom half of the spherical device. It is this device that contains a form of anti-gravitational device that allows them to float up to eighty feet in the air. We have not been able to capture a specimen in good enough condition to glean any of the workings of how this device keeps it’s body afloat.

CETALID Report 18-1-2006 CLASSIFIED!

This creature resembles a pink amorphous blob. The core contains a small bio-mechanical device which appears to be a naturally evolved anti-gravity propulsion system. It is aided by a natural secretion of a small gland into an air sac at the top of the organism. The gas includes a high content of hydrogen, and makes the organism extremely vulnerable to incendiary ammunition, though standard issue lasers can also ignite the gas.
The sac of venom is the largest organ and is capable of expelling it’s contents up to thirty feet. The venom contains highly toxic chemicals and a digestive bacteria that causes infection in victims, while it literally eats them apart from inside. Penicillin works well against the bacteria, but it appears to be adapting to the anti-biotics faster than any other in history.
There does not appear to be a separate brain structure, though neural tissues are incorporated throughout the cell structures. There is no discernible digestive or reproductive system, probably meaning the digestive bacteria are re-incorporated from the expelled venom after digesting the victim. A small organ contains embryos which can grow rapidly into a new being.

SILACOID Report 21-1-2006 CLASSIFIED!

This creature resembles a rock in many aspects, only it’s unusual coloring gives it away (it tends to be a dark blood red with veins of purple)
The core of the creature is extremely hot and seems to be the basis for a digestive system. It’s unique muscle system has tremendous power and speed for the creature mass. It’s rock like skin is not easily harmed by fire or incendiary ammo, and standard lasers have a diminished effect as the energy in the bolts seems to be re-distributed through the dark purple veins that act as a natural thermal release for the core.

CRYSSALID Report 1-2-2006 CLASSIFIED!

This is a frighteningly effective creature and should be considered a top priority upon contact. In fact, it has been deemed far too dangerous to attempt to capture a live specimen, and orders stand to shoot to kill with as much firepower as is available.
The exo-skeleton of this creature is exceptionally tough and contains layered threads of alien alloy metal that appear to have been actually grown into a hard shell. Bullets have little effect, but can cause injury if they hit on the joints of overlapping armor plates.
The brain is well developed and has shown sophisticated reasoning capabilities during combat, often outsmarting our soldiers.
An exceptional cell growth rate means that injuries can be healed in a matter of hours. The creature also carries 20 eggs that are laid inside other organisms where they release toxins into the blood stream and ‘melt’ their victim from the inside. Strangely, the neural tissues are unaffected, meaning that a host experiences massive pain during the hour long gestation period. The pain has been know to send victims mad enough to attack fellow humans.
The creature reminds us of a human shaped beetle, while possessing no hands, it does however have two large claws that can cut through steel with little trouble.
Weak spots include joins between armor plates, and the eyes, although they have retractable armor plates as well.

REAPER Report 12-2-2006 CLASSIFIED!

The reaper looks like a hairy orange cow with two curved horns and a blunted face rather than a snout. They contain two of every organ which allow it to function even when heavily wounded, however, it’s fur is highly flammable and it’s enzymes denature at surprisingly low temperatures.

CYBER DISK Report 12-2-2006 CLASSIFIED!

A wholly artificial construct that looks like a two meter diameter UFO, it is well shielded and is particularly good at withstanding explosive ammo. All examples obtained so far have been too badly damaged to examine in detail. These units seem to explode upon ‘death’.
They have a similar propulsion unit to the floaters, and come mounted with at least one heavy plasma weapon.
