Consideration Lacking
Poem. Are you always considerate in your treatment of others?

Judge ye not lest you then should be so judged
In all you say and do.
Remember one time you lacked confidence.
Your brothers need these assurances too.

Consideration is a quality
Not all people possess.
To further their personal agenda,
They’ll compromise other’s success

Often in the name of being helpful,
They forget to be kind;
And blurt out their criticisms bluntly,
No thought given; only what’s on their mind.

While problems with work should be pointed out,
This should be done with tact.
Remember your purpose is encouragement,
Not pointing out the talent they may lack.

Once you needed years of experience.
Now, this you can display;
Positive in your apt ability.
Is that past time really so far away?

Don’t be threatened by newly found ideas,
Although these may be raw.
Encouragement, kindness and nurturing
Can lighten how you show others their flaws.

For our purpose in life is not judging
Errors of anyone,
But to assist them in their daily walk
With suggestions on how it should be done.

For, you’re not the final authority.
There’s a final review,
That will look at how you treat others
And the only one to answer is you.
