The things that give Me Joy In Life

A lot of things bring me joy in life,The highlight though of my entire life has been Bryan. When I met and married his grandfather,Bryan was 16 months old, today he is 16 years old. He was the most beauitful baby boy I had ever seen. He was sweet natured, loving, smart, funny, an amzing child. We raised him and he has turned out remarkable.He is an honor roll student, has set goals and respects other people. We have been very fortunate not too have any problems with him. That has been my biggest joy, raising him. Now to name the small ones. The things in life we all enjoy but don't acknowledge like we should. For instance, blue skies and a sunny breezy day. The color pink, pink flowers, my pink cotton sheets and I love getting pink balloons. I love yellow roses, watching a vegetable garden being planted and then growing in the spring. Hosta plants, coloring eggs with the children at Easter, passing out candy at Halloween and looking at all the kids cute costumes, seeing a smile on a childs face on Christmas morning and I love my decorated Christmas tree by my fireplace with the snow falling outside my living room window. I love bubblegum flavored popsicles from the ice cream truck, cotton candy, snow cones, buttered popcorn and the smell of coffee brewing in the morning. I love the smell and sight of fresh cut grass, Lifetime Movie Network, My soap operas I have been watching for over 20 years "The Young & The Restless" and "The Bold and The Beauitful". I love playing with my Yorkie "Katie", scrapbooking, the state of Florida where I was born and raised, the ocean, watching the sunset from a pier on Anna Maria Island. I love Disney World, vanilla milkshakes, and corn dogs. I love reading and writing has always been a passion of mine. I could sit on the couch and watch "Willie Wonka & The Chocolate Factory" until the cows come home. I love all kinds of food, stuffed crabs, lobster, manicotti and shrimp scampi. I love salads, a bed of lettuce with lots of feta cheese, green peppers, black olives, cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumbers and oil instead of salad dressing. I love children, mustangs, SUV's, the state of North Carolina, rock and roll, Queensryche and Empire especially.I love "The Golden Girls" I have every episode ever made. There are so many things I never realised that brought me joy. Most of the things I named are things we experience everyday. When we do experience these things we should sit back and enjoy them.
