Jesus
A man of the world No - - A world of a man Yes - - To be a savior Empathy My mind in him Seeing Myself in the way His destiny The brutal cross On a hill A thorny crown Nails tearing through Hanging, dying For the sins in me Disgraced Forgiven, in heaven With God The Angels rejoicing Holding my hands He healed In grace for trinity Three in one Father, Son, for me Sagacious Salvation with prayers To pray For the world today Children Abused by drunkenness Denied By the coward parent That was me. "Dear most understanding Jesus. It has taken me years of tears to write about yesterday, all those years ago. Alcohol my curse now no more, ten years sober. My children visiting again; there with forgiveness, returning to see the new me. Steady hands to hold, walking to church praying for the confused, angry abused children; invited from the local orphanage, to hear my life story."
