Because I am different
You laugh and you sneer You whisper mean things Though you know I can hear. Because I am different You treat me so mean But you don't realize My true colors aren't seen. Because I am different You don't give me a chance You push me around Without one second glance. Because I am different You make fun of me But I know the truth Of reality. Because I am different I'll be someone, someday. Because I am different No one will be in my way. Because I am different I'll change the world. Because I am different I'll be more than just a girl. And while you make fun Just think, okay? Because maybe I'll be Bossing you 'round one day.
