A Parent's Worry ...
The old clock is ticking; the hour is late. I’m not really worried (my daughter’s first date). She’s young and naïve, but I’m sure she’ll be fine. Not once has she ever crossed over the line. The boy was quite pleasant; it’s his first date, too. I gave him “the look” and I’m sure that he knew. … but wait … now, I hear them … I head down the hall. I’ll wait in my bedroom, no worries at all. rhyming couplets 11/11
