Dreaming on my Lawn
All day long, I'm left alone, Because my parents are gone. Can't you see I'm having fun here, Dreaming by myself in the lawn? Even the cat's having fun; Faring home alone quiet well. Gaven the turtle's still reclusive, Hiding forever still in his shell. Ivan my pet chimp's freaking out, Jumping along all of the trees. Kit the 'roo is running lots, Leaping high to catch the breeze. Monica my parrot won't stop cawing, Nagging at everyone who passes by. Oscar my pet ostrich's hiding, Pondering 'neath the dirt; he's shy. Quagmire my turtle's acting like a stool, Roasting and baking slowly in the sun. Samson my giraffe's raced with Kit, Telling everyone that he's won. Under the tree is Champ my penguin, Very dry indeed without a pool. Wisty is eating everything in site, Xanthe in color; no wonder - she's a mule! Yet now my parents are back at home, so there goes my wonderland... Zoos are fun to live in when your imagination's grand.
