Cocoon
I need to hide inside you for a while, Until I feel beautiful and whole again. Taking my ugly thoughts there I ponder, Turning my heart and body to liquid mush. I cannot emerge prematurely as it will kill me. Timing is everything and must be respected, Churning with desire to be whole again, Stewing in my own juices and desolate. Pieces of me come back cell by cell. I reconfigure myself and my hopes anew. I have had what it takes all along, It was just mixed up and green. Showtime.
