Our Logical, Great Spock!

The tall young man who never smiles,
He makes each analysis clear.
His science work is logically sound,
His observations are without peer.

His birth was on Vulcan, so far away,
Good parents of two different worlds.
He struggled with living the best of both,
His emotions inside him twirled.

He entered Star Fleet and traveled in space,
With Pike, then Kirk in command.
His father responded with Vulcan silence,
That only his Earth mother would truly understand.

Spock’s career was filled with missions to achieve,
He let meditation control the strife.
He released T’Pring to Stonn after the battle was done.
He would wait for the right time and wife.

Spock died to help the many survive.
His katra he put in McCoy.
He later came back as a new Vulcan child,
With a new foundation he would solemnly employ.

Spock committed his life to many noble ideals.
The greatest one of these was peace.
He wished to unite two proud people united by blood,
Whose mistrust would never decrease.

I feel that we have benefited by using logic we learned
From this special Vulcan, who came as our friend.
We will truly work hard to control our emotions and acts,
Bur always remember, “Live long and prosper!” in the end.
