Only a Portrait
It's about Connie...I have no idea who she is, but I like her.

she was Connie

if you can imagine a mirage
of a blurry soft edged pancake
with palatable extremities and a
shocking medusa of red curls, then
you can imagine Connie - an unreal,
real life person whose ideals
and illusions tended to blend,
like peanut-strawberry-butter-jam
spread on freshly toasted bread.

she made you wonder why...

she was only Connie.
