Lets pretend That the sun is pink Let’s pretend That life doesn’t stink Let’s pretend That my daughter loves me Let’s pretend That she lives with here mommy Let’s pretend That on every face is a smile Let’s pretend That there is some one to hold me for a while Let’s pretend That the world is in harmony Let’s pretend That I was a more beautiful me Let’s pretend That I still played with Barbie While we’re at it Let’s pretend That I had her body
