I never thought it would happen to me,
but after solo mediocrity,
I'm estatic as any girl could be
to be a part of this big family!

I am a quiet only child by birth;
though I've come to appreciate the worth
of solititude, my life contains a dearth
of closeness and could use a little mirth!

But living in this fam'ly requires change!
They think my Yankee ways are very strange!
To make this life-choice makes me re-arrange
my view: I'm happy and have no complaints!

I never thought it would happen so fast
that I could be so happy here, a task!
I,ve gotten over unpacking my past
and am enjoying happiness at last!
