Do You Have the Courage to Join Me?

A rant on the demonization of citizens right to question their ELECTED Representatives.
I have never considered myself anything except a moderate.  There have been times in my long life that I have voted for a Democrat, a Republican, or an Independent.  I supported Charles Collins and Ross Perot.  I have volunteered by passing out pamphlets and have stood, peacefully and legally, at polling sites encouraging those, last minute, undecided voters.  I have never been paid for my volunteer service.  I am grassroots all the way.  I am a Christian woman, wife, mother and grandmother and scared at where I see my country headed, are you?

I am sure that all of my Washington elected representative’s town hall meetings, during this August recess, will be well orderly, as they have been listening to their constituents.  If they wouldn’t have voted as promised under their party platform, and campaign promises, I would have been among those that this current administration has called mobsters.  President Barack Obama was speaking to all moderates, registered Republican or not, when he accused them of being the problem and needed to be SILENT.  Just who does he think he’s talking to?

Our nationally elected leader is an accomplished community organizer and has used paid agitators to achieve his personal, political and social goals.  Currently, when common ordinary citizens, whether unorganized or locally grass roots organized, show at their Democratic Representatives Town Hall Meetings, they are suddenly angry mobs, why?

Now, who are the mobsters here?  My answer is:  The current administration.  They have instituted a special website, which operates on our taxpayer money, for citizens to turn their neighbors, friends or co-workers in if they disagree with the current health care plan, under a guise of misinformation.  What era in history does this remind you of?

The administrations excuse actually reminds me of my children.  The first to tattle was usually the instigator or, at the least, a participant in the wrong doings.  In the work place, the brownnoser that runs to the boss at every curve, to turn in his fellow employees, is usually the biggest goof-off.  Experience tells me that these individuals are attempting to divert the suspicion away from themselves, onto others.  Hasn’t history proved that this is a successful tactic?

Suddenly the strong armed ‘Chicago Way’ is only supposed to be allowed usage by the current administration.  This is a double standard that angers the majority of American citizens, and is deliberately being used to deflect criticism of the administration’s policy changes and amassed debt of the last six months.  This agitating tactic was used against the past President Bush, and seen during this latest election campaign, was it not?

America is about freedoms.  I do not want my government telling me how to live, what to eat or drink, where I should work, what vehicle I should drive, or forced into a one-payer medical insurance plan.  I definitely do not want a government to have access to my medical records and take my end of life health care decisions away from me, do you?

This is my opinion, and I still have a right to freedom of speech, under the Bill of Rights, Article 1, commonly known as the First Amendment.  Turn me in to the White House snitch site if you so desire.  I will be proud to be listed, along with many of our current outspoken patriots that are already likely named, on a “enemy watch list.”  Do you have the courage to join me?
