Depressing Me

For a friend...

Anti-depressants are depressing me
They repress, oppress, and blur what I see,
Blue moods, bad thoughts, sleepless nights
Bitchiness, edginess, frequent fights,
Over the last year
Oh how I fear,
Five kinds of pills
Do nothing for my ills,
They make my mouth dry
And make my brain fry,
Happiness, energy, motivation and vigor
Which one is gonna be the right trigger?
Paxil and Effexor and Celexa and Prozac
Now Zoloft to fix what I supposedly lack,
I want to feel happy and mellow
I want to change from blue to yellow,
I need to know soon what to do
Or I don't think I'll make it through...
