Loneliness, Phoniness

Loneliness, phoniness,
commercial smile.
She can sing and dance,
so versatile.

No one sees
behind the eyes.
Nothing there,
no soul inside.

She's so tired
of the fight.
Life's so hard,
can't find the light.

No one's true,
everyone lies.
All stick figures,
no hearts inside.

The mighty fall,
chaos rules.
A perfect world,
the dream of fools.

No tears left,
can't find the way
To recover from,
the hurt and shame.
