Paranoia
by Crissy
Rated: E | Poetry | Psychology | #1590477
Whatever you say, you'll still be a liar.
Will this roller coaster ever end?
On whom will paranoia depend?
It forms my judgment and shapes my thoughts.
These misconceptions, gracefully wrought.

A smile my way is a mystery.
I deduce a faux epiphany.
Share with me what you really desire.
Whatever you say, you’ll still be a liar.

The lights I see, the voices I hear
make ev’rything savagely unclear.
Did that just happen or could it be
my mind made it up just to trick me?

Whatever the case, it’s hard to cope.
I’m dangling at the end of my rope.
Demonstrate, please, the way to get out.
I want to taste what normal’s about.
