Stefan stared deeply into the aisle of unknown. It was dark, creepy. He had determination in his face. It’s time, the inner voice of his head figured. He was going to end this – once and for all, before it even started. Stefan, along with his comrades, stood on a porch that was floating in outer space. The door a comrade, Ai, had just opened lead to a palace of no return – a palace everyone read in fairytales – a palace called ‘The Chamber of Oblivion’. They came to finish off a job so many people tried to – defeat the destroyer of dimensions; or as they call it ‘It’.
“Luke’s waiting for us, guys.” Stefan turned back to the others, who were right behind him. “Can’t keep him waiting, can we?” He smirked. Everyone nodded, though more serious than Stefan was.
BOOM. The door was shut with immense force. It seemed like someone doesn’t want them to leave… There was no light. Total darkness consumed them all.
“They’re coming!” an innocent, young voice spoke. Stefan knew who she was – Meiren. The elf could hear a tree branch falling from a mile away.
Slowly, steadily, Stefan unsheathed one of his twin blades. The blade shone with great immense of light, allowing him to roughly see what lies around him in the great darkness. As he took out his other sword, the rest followed. Their weapons, too, shone brightly. With the light from their weapons, they could see the monsters up ahead.
The fiends were nothing like they’ve seen before. Bodies distorted, barely recognizable. But it seemed as if they were once human. Arms as long as two feet, arms for legs, eyes turning up everywhere in their bodies. It was almost unbearable to look.
The seven were stunned. Then, Stefan made the first move. He yelled, “valrean mol ustorus!” And the beasts backed up, as if they understood it. Smirking, he gripped on both of his swords, gave a signal to the others, and they all ran forward to face the hideous beasts.
They found themselves in a room, still in deep darkness; no one could tell what lies within. All seven were silent. They were as serious as ever; just waiting for the enemy to show up. They all glared at one another – as if they, themselves were the enemy. Meiren stayed still upon hearing the footsteps of the enemy, but she signaled to alert the others to its presence.
Seven adults; all gathered from across the dimension. Just for this moment. This day. This chance. Everything would be decided here. …Or so Stefan thought.
Through the lights their weapons shone, they could see the shadows of ‘It’. The beast that scarred them for life; who gave Seigrune suffering it never deserved. And they were going to stop him.
Weapons collided, thrown, pierced. The seven fought until their very last breath, literally. The fight ended in their utter defeat at the hands of 'It,' but luckily, for the first time ever, two of the seven managed to escape the Chamber.
That was one of the many stories of the fight between the Forbidden Children and It. Yes, there are many more where that came from. But now is the time of the present. Welcome to the dimension of Seigrune, Year 2058.
