Tick tock, Tick tock
Time is traveling
Traveling with this poet
On a journey of return
Days are past
Nights are gone

Tick tock, Tick tock
Time still travels fast
Faster than the poet can go
This poet has lost it all to time
In the past
In the present
And the future now is deem

Tick tock, Tick tock
The poet’s heart beats
Tick tock, Tick tock
The poet’s mind thinks
Tick tock, Tick tock
How can the poet fight time?
Tick tock, Tick tock
How, when the poet has no dime
Tick tock, Tick tock
The poet has no time to rhyme
Tick tock, Tick tock
The poet wishes to die
Tick tock, Tick tock
The poet has no time to die
