MY MUSE
The dearest friend I have to date Is my charitable muse For they will decide the fate Of which words I will choose I've learned not to argue with them And just take their dictation Although I want to rule my pen I give in with hesitation For when I play second fiddle And they are now presiding Over a song, poem, or riddle The finished piece is so exciting! by: Kimarie Manhart-Freeman
