August Entry 100 Words No Repeats
A 100 word short story told in rhyme… Prompt: 1: You are a spider; give me 100 unique words to describe dinner. Fine Cuisine Silk does entangle. Prey I should mangle. Once quickly caught becomes lunch. All spiders must eat These sweet juicy treats, ‘Cause on them it’s fun to munch. Flies are quite tasty! Let’s not get hasty! Mosquitoes taste good and crunch. But dragonfly stew Shows its appeal, too, If seeking something for brunch. Sometimes we do dine; Sip bark beetle wine, Or drink bumble bee fruit punch. Oh, gosh golly gee! What variety! Insects enticingly scrunch! Around the palette, Taste buds can ballot Which would go good with clunch. Dinner has been served, Though some sit unnerved, Shy observers, my hunch.
