betrayal
A brief interpretation of betrayal through the eyes of the betrayed.

Betrayal is a deceitful antidote; a malevolent attempt to cloak you're own insecurities. Often you find yourself in conflicts you never intended on creating. There are two methods of solving these conflicts; either with honesty or beguilement. All too often people are consumed by naiveté and find legerdemain as an auspicious alternative to veracity. Why must people equivocate when they err? It is inevitable that the truth will be exposed and at that point, the chicanery begins. This trickery only prolongs the anguish of both the joker and the fool. Eventually the joker becomes entangled in the web of lies he has spun; left for dead with no fool to save him. He becomes a vague, almost nonexistent memory; nothing more than a part of the past. So place you're knife in it's sheath, for there is no place for back stabbing in this journey we call life.
