Oh Mr. Reaper
just leave me be.
I'm not ready to go yet.
Won't you just leave me alone?
I have so much free life still to live.
I can't go yet!

Oh Mr. Reaper
My time can't be up.
Don't ring my bell don't call me on to that train.
I haven't even told the girl I love how I feel about her yet
so Mr. Reaper why are you taking me so soon?

Oh Mr. Reaper
is it really my time? please tell me it isn't true!
The fat lady never sang and my whistle I didn't hear
so please tell me it's not my end!

Oh Mr. Reaper
if you must take atleast give me another day or two
so I can say goodbye to the world I won't see again.

Oh Mr. Reaper
before we go please tell me this
where will I end up somewhere up above, down below or somewhere in between?

Oh Mr. Reaper
I think I've stalled long enough.
Now take me into your cold embrace.

Oh Mr. Reaper I'm ready to go!
