Wisdom

The wisest tree of all,
is in the forest filled with the tall.
It is not the oldest of the trees,
which sway in the breeze.

It is not the one that is so round,
that it takes up to much of the ground.
It is not the tree that blocks out the sun,
before its job is done.

It is a tree that stands so high,
that it fights to reach the sky.
It is a tree with the will to live,
even when it has nothing more to give.

It is a tree that does not stop the rain,
although it might be in pain.
So, the wisest tree in the land,
is in the woods where we all stand.
