Your Song

I am going to write you a song.
Then I will be able to sing along.
Whenever you're away and gone.
I'll be happy then and not alone.

Sing from my heart what's written.
Won't forget any word that's within.
I am not a singer this one I'll sing.
It is all about you my living dream.

You leave me I'll sing your song.
Right here by my side you belong.
Blues and heartaches left behind.
Make sure to include in every line.

The words are already in my mind.
I've rehearsed them many a time.
Go on and leave if you must go.
Sing your song when you're gone.
