ASK NOT
What will the world be worth if grace, tenderness, charm and dignity are no more?

ASK NOT

Ask not what will happen if
The flowers lose their scent;
Petals lose delicacy
Because by thorns they’re rent.

Ask not what will happen if
Tender buds come to harm.
Humanity will cry if
It loses all its charm.

Ask not what will happen if
The dulcet grace is gone;
If one day feminity,
To roughness, is too prone.

That day all hell will break lose
And God will pour His tears,
As he finds, in gender war,
The pitch on this earth queers.
